This is one of the lowest mintage and most elusive of all modern Canadian specimen sets. This set has become nearly impossible to find in the secondary market and has commanded substantial premiums when available.  Unlike any other set from this year, the specimen set includes a special issue loon dollar coin featuring a Tufted Puffin.  Total mintage for this set is only 39,908.

2005 Specimen coins are nearly flawless and are struck with a brilliant relief on a parallel lined background.  All of the coins from the cent to $2 are included in a high quality green presentation case.
