Issued in 1994 as a new addition to the line of bullion coins offered by the Royal Canadian Mint, the two dollar (1/15 troy ounce) coin was discontinued in 1995, and as such, is a one-year type.

This coin comes encapsulated for protection (without outer clamshell case). HST/GST exempt.
