In 1923 the Royal Military College of Canada hockey team travelled to the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York to foster goodwill between the two national schools.
It was a hard fought game that Canada won with a score of 3-0. Reported as some of the best hockey seen in years, both teams eagerly awaited their rematch the following year.
It is the longest-running international hockey series in the world - two academic teams delivering great hockey as they compete for international pride.
