This 2010 50 cent coin features a Sinosauropteryx. The third issue in our Dinosaur Exhibit series. Some of the most popular and sought after coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint have featured dinosaurs that once roamed the land that is now Canada. 

The Design:

The coin uses colour and lenticular technology to bring the coins to life. It has unusual brass-plated composition and distinctive specimen finish. A fierce prehistoric carnivore that will spring to action with a slight tilt of the coin.
