The Design:

This coin features a stylized baseball runner, in classic uniform and helmet, with his arms and legs pumping as he rounds the bases. This figure is layered over an abstract circling form that symbolizes the event's speed, skill and international inclusiveness. The runner is flanked on the right side by the official logo of the World Baseball Classic tournament.
