This stunning full three-dimensional Elk coin is one of the most revolutionary series ever issued by the Royal Canadian Mint. The Design:

The reverse design by Canadian wildlife sculptor Karl Lansing presents a stunning rendition of the Iconic Elk.  The minute sculpted detail on the animal’s body and antlers is magnified and further enhanced by the fine layer of gold over the pure silver relief, conveying the majesty and natural beauty of this imposing master of his domain.  Moving across the open landscape, the elk has paused mid-step to lift its head towards the sky and unleash a powerful bugle that puts both mates and rivals on alert. Your coin will come presented on a round wooden pedestal and protected by a domed cover that allows the coin to be proudly displayed as a work of art.
